⚾ #2 — San Francisco Giants Moneyline (-122) — ❌ LOSS

San Francisco Giants vs. Colorado Rockies

This was the only thing standing between us and a perfect day.

We liked San Francisco because of the combination of the matchup, home-field environment and a manageable -122 moneyline.

Rather than laying a large favorite price, we believed -122 gave us enough value to back the Giants outright.

But this is also the perfect example of why no handicap is guaranteed.

Result: Giants LOSS, 5-2 ❌

Colorado got the better of San Francisco, and the Giants became our only loss of the entire Top 5 card.

Frustrating? Absolutely.

But going 4-1 means we aren't dwelling on the one that got away.

🏀 #3 — Seattle Storm +2.5 — ✅ WIN

This was one of our favorite situations from the WNBA slate.

We weren't asking Seattle to win the game outright. We were getting 2.5 points, which gave us additional protection in what we expected to be a competitive matchup.

Our analysis suggested Seattle was capable of doing more than simply staying within the number.

And that's exactly what happened.

Result: Storm WIN, 83-76 ✅

Seattle didn't need the +2.5.

The Storm won the game outright 83-76, making the points nothing more than extra insurance.

That's the kind of spread result we love.
